Freddie is a 16.3 hh, 18 yr old, Appendix registered Quarter Horse gelding.  He was a good arena and trail horse, english and western, for advance beginner and up riders, however has been diagnosed with arthritis through his neck and back.  If Freddie's saddle does not fit properly, or he feels pain in his back, he will buck off his rider.  For this reason, we are encouraging his retirement from riding and are not evaluating him under saddle.  He has had treatments and adjustments to try to improve his tolerance, with little success.  Vet records are available.  Freddie is otherwise a good guy to handle, he has no vices and loves attention.  In turnout, he cannot be mixed with mares or becomes aggressive with them and other horses.  He is good in all gelding turnout.  Freddie is barefoot with little maintenance and is pasture sound.
