Penny is a 15 year old Miniature Horse mare who stands about 35" tall.  She has never been trained to ride or drive, but has been a companion and pet.  Penny can be shy of new people and takes some time to warm up.  If given a chance, she gets curious and will initiate contact.  After she knows you, she will show affection.  She does enjoy being groomed and low sugar treats.

Penny has a history of laminitis, so should stay on a low starch/sugar diet and restricted from pasture grazing.  She is currently sound and on no medication and can stay that way will proper management.
