Tex is a 28 year old Appaloosa gelding who stands about 15 hh.  He is very well trained and has much experience being ridden on the trails, in the arena, and in parades.  Tex is responsive, so best not with a total beginner, who may make mistakes.  He is safe on the ground and in the saddle, however.  Tex should have a light riding job from here on, as he has evidence of DSLD in the hind pasterns.  This can progress to a painful condition, but at this time he is sound with no maintenance.  He gets along well with other horses, has no vices and respects fences.  If you feel you can commit to Tex in his senior years, schedule a visit to meet him!
