Tootsie and Dominick

Tootsie and Dominick are a Mother and son who have never lived apart. In fact, neither had ever left the farm where they were both born, until tragically, their owner passed away and the farm had to be sold. Understandably, this has been quite a stressful change for them, especially Tootsie. Both stand well for vet and farrier, are sound with no special health needs.
Tootsie is a palomino quarter horse who is now 22 years old and about 14.3 hh. She is trained to ride, in fact is reported to be trained in some reining work as well as trails. However, she is very sensitive and will require an advanced rider and handler. She has shown some aggressive behavior at people when in her space. She will need someone patient and willing to gain her trust before asking for more.
Dominick is Tootsie's son, a QH/Draft cross. He is extremely loving and laid back. He is very friendly and has shown no behavioral issues. He is reported to be only green broke to ride, however, so would also need an experienced person to finish his training.
These horses will be adopted together, as it is very stressful for them to be separated at this time. We will be working on this as they are with us, as well as the other skills they need to learn.
ADOPTION FEE: $500 for both.
