Begin Again Horse Rescue is a registered 501c-3 not for profit charity.  Other than the daily caretakers, we are run 100% by volunteers!  The GFAS (Global Federation of Animal Sanctuaries) has awarded us accredited status. We have been awarded the Platinum Seal of Transparency by www.guidestar.com, a rating list of all non profit charities.  We also are inspected and approved annually by the AAEP (American Association of Equine Practitioners).  We have been awarded a Guardian status by the Equus Foundation.  We are supported and awarded generous grants from the Kenneth Scott Charitable Foundation, ASPCA, The EQUUS Foundation, The Doris Day Foundation, and other major animal welfare organizations.  Begin Again Horse Rescue was awarded the National honor of HORSE RESCUE OF THE YEAR 2020 by The Equis Saves Foundation.
