Emmy is an 18 year old, 15.2 hh Missouri Fox Trotter mare.  She is an absolute doll to work with, calm, sweet and quiet.  She is this way to ride as well, although much more experienced on the trail than in the arena.  She is gaited, but can also walk, trot and canter.  Emmy has some navicular changes in one front foot, diagnosed as Caudal Heel Syndrome. She is currently in front shoes and pads and has improved greatly  in the time she has been here.   She benefits from a maintenance dose of Equioxx daily to keep her moving most comfortably. She is ready to get back to work and would be happiest as your backyard family trail horse!

Emmy prefers to be pastured alone, she can get bossy with other horses and will kick in turnout.  She is used to a pampered lifestyle and also enjoys her stall time, is happy inside or out to pasture. She will willingly ride out alone or with a group. She loves children and is suitable for any level of rider or handler.
