Emmy is an 18 year old, 15.2 hh Missouri Fox Trotter mare.  She is an absolute doll to work with, calm, sweet and quiet.  She is this way to ride as well, although much more experienced on the trail than in the arena.  She is gaited, but can also walk, trot and canter.  Emmy is sound with no health issues, but she is most comfortable in front shoes, as she gets sore on rocks and hard ground.  We also feel that she would benefit from a maintenance dose of Equioxx daily to keep her moving most comfortably. Emmy prefers to be pastured alone, she can get bossy with other horses and will kick in turnout.  She is used to a pampered lifestyle and also enjoys her stall time, so would not be best in a run in only situation.  She loves children and is suitable for any level of rider or handler.
