Lacey is 34 years old and a 33" Miniature Horse mare.  She has been in one home for most of her life and everyone planned for her to live out her last days there.  Sadly, her owner is elderly and has been met with health challenges preventing her from caring for the horses, so they came to us.  Lacy has physical limitations and does require some extra care in feeding.  She can be unsteady on her feet at times, due to advanced arthritis.  She takes daily medications as well.  Our hope is that Lacy can find a home that will give her the palliative care she needs so she can live out the rest of her time surrounded by a loving home.  Please contact us to find out more about the terms in being a final foster home.
