Mars is a 16 year old registered Saddlebred mare who stands about 15.2 hh.  She is a very pretty girl with a loving disposition.  She gets along with everyone in the pasture and makes no fuss with her handlers around the barn.  Mars was used as an Amish buggy horse for most of her life.  We were told her owner passed away and she was to be sold.  She was purchased by a private person who wanted to give her a better life.  That owner introduced her to riding and did some light trails, which she says she enjoys.  We find Mars a bit nervous under saddle, but the breed often tends to seem that way normally.  She has done nothing wrong, just gets worried and needs confidence.

Mars is sound and has no special health needs.  We have not evaluated her driving skills, but it is likely she could be a good ride/drive prospect.
