Max is a 20 year old, 15.2 hh Percheron cross gelding.  He came as a product of the PMU trade, when Premarin foals were produced in mass quantities.  Max was basically kept a pet and spent much of his life in an Equine Sanctuary downstate, living as a pasture puff and never wanting for anything.  Reportedly, he was started under saddle many years ago.  By our evaluation, he doesn't remember that time in his life!  He is very calm and gentle, sweet for everyone to handle, but he does get reactive when saddled and lunged.  He will be adopted out as a companion at this time.  If his adopter wants to train him for more, he will need to be started from the beginning. Max is sound and healthy, he has no special needs and no vices.  He gets along well with others, can live in a run in or in a stall.
