MoonCat is an 18 year old, 16 hh Thoroughbred gelding. He has experience showing in the hunters jumpers, and he had dressage training.  He loves riding outside as well as in the arena. He is an enthusiastic and talented jumper too! He is generally a quiet ride with more whoa than go, but he has a very light mouth and sensitive back.  For this reason, he requires at least an intermediate rider with a quiet hand and seat.  Moon is very sound, barefoot, but is very sensitive and will let you know if he is uncomfortable in any way.  Moon is a cribber and a collar only slows him down.  Otherwise he has no vices, stands on x ties for farrier like a gentleman, good for vet, is very playful with friends in the pasture.  Moon is a character and really wants to bond with his perfect match who will put him in a routine.  He likes to work and loves attention!

Moon is currently in a foster home and will be adopted from that location.  He is not at the rescue facility.
