Pearl is a 25 year old, 13.2 hh Haflinger mare. She is a very sweet and gentle girl with a lifetime of experience both riding and driving.  SShe is restricedhe can be ridden western, english, or just bareback with a halter and leads for reins.  She is a great one for the kiddos to safely ride around the farm.  Pearl is very healthy and sound, but she does have Fecal Water Syndrome.  This is a condition that causes her to be unable to digest long stem forage, specifically hay.  She is on a strict no hay diet.  Instead she is fed pelleted forage extender and pasture. This means she cannot be turned out with other horses who eat hay outside, although she gets along well with other horses in turnout.  If you feel you can accomodate Pearl's special feeding needs, she will make your family very happy.
