Teala is a 7 year old QH mare who stands about 14.2 hh.  She is very calm and quiet with a curious nature.  She does not have much experience or training under saddle, but is currently being ridden at walk and trot, tried some desensitizing obstacles and has even been willing to pop over a cross rail.  She is willing to learn and would like an adopter who is wanting to teach her new things.  With further training, she would be suitable for an intermediate level rider for trail riding, pony club, lower level showing in english or western. 

Teala has been diagnosed with Equine Metabolic Syndrome, and has foundered in the past.  She will require limited grazing on pasture and a low sugar/starch diet.  She is currently sound with no other special needs.  She has no vices and is well mannered on the ground.
