Charlie is a 20+ year old Shetland pony gelding who stands about 10 hh.  He is a sweet pony who must have had some rough handling at some point, as he is very nervous and worried about fast movements.  For this reason he is not suitable as a pony for small children to handle  He does like to be groomed, as long as you stay away from his ears, which are very sensitive.  Once he warms up, he is curious and friendly, but takes time to know new people.  Charlie has tested positive for Cushings disease and is on 1/2 tab daily of Prascend.  He also has very smooth teeth and likes his feed soaked into mush.  He doesn't chew hay very well, but he likes it, and he is ok to graze on limited short grass. He is a special guy, looking for a special home.
